Warranty
LIMITED WARRANTY FOR STARCO LED LIGHTING PRODUCTS
This Limited Warranty is provided by Starco Lighting Inc. (“Seller”) to the original purchaser(“Purchaser”) of LED lighting products identified on Seller’s invoice reflecting the original purchase(“Products”). This warranty applies exclusively to Starco’s TLED Lamps and LED Luminaires, as described herein.
The warranty period for TLED Lamps is eight (8) years from the date of original purchase, and the warranty period for LED Luminaires is ten (10) years from the date of original purchase. The warranty period for Starconomy LED Products is five (5) years from the date of original purchase. The warranty period for Starco Controls Products is five (5) years from the date of original purchase. During the applicable warranty period, Seller warrants that the Products will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service conditions. If Seller determines that a Product is defective, Seller will, at its sole discretion, choose to refund the original purchase price of the Product, repair the defective Product using new, refurbished, or comparable components, or replace the defective Product with an identical or functionally equivalent product. Any repaired or replaced Product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.
This warranty applies only if the Product is properly installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with the accompanying instructions and all applicable local electrical codes. The Product must be used under normal environmental and operating conditions, including proper ambient temperatures, electrical supply voltage, and frequency. The warranty is contingent upon proof of purchase, such as the original invoice or receipt, being provided when making a warranty claim. The warranty does not apply to Products that have been mishandled, abused, misused, or improperly installed. It also excludes damage caused by power surges, electrical current fluctuations, improper power supply, or environmental factors such as corrosion, vibration, or exposure to chemicals or extreme weather conditions. Damage resulting from acts of God, such as fire, floods, or earthquakes, as well as vandalism or civil disturbances, is not covered. Modifications or repairs performed by unauthorized personnel, or normal wear and tear such as discoloration, reduced light output, or lumen depreciation, are also excluded.
To make a warranty claim, Purchaser must notify Seller in writing within sixty (60) days of discovering the defect. The notification must include proof of purchase, a detailed description of the defect, and, where applicable, photographs and details of the installation and operating conditions. Purchaser may be required to return the defective Product, freight prepaid, to Seller or an authorized service provider. Warranty claims should be sent to Starco Lighting Inc., 2495 Main Street, Suite 218, Buffalo, NY 14214.This warranty does not cover indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, or downtime costs. Seller’s aggregate liability under this warranty is limited to the amount paid for the defective Product.
Seller reserves the right to use new, reconditioned, refurbished, repaired, or remanufactured components for warranty service. Replacement components will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. Seller also reserves the right to modify this warranty at any time, with modifications applying to orders placed after the effective date of the revised warranty.
This warranty is void if the Product is used in a manner not intended by Seller or if installation and operational guidelines are not followed. The foregoing warranty is exclusive and provided in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. This warranty excludes any liability for damages arising from the use or inability to use the Product.
